Bike Fit: Frame Mount

The frame-mounted Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi attaches to the seat tube of the bike frame.

• The seat tube must be circular or oval, with a diameter between 28 mm and 40 mm (1.10 in to 1.57 in).
• Triangular and square frames are not compatible.
• Full suspension bikes and some step-through bikes are also not compatible.

Proper Positioning & Clearance

To ensure a safe and stable ride, the seat must be:

• Balanced over the rear wheel: The mid-point marker on the seat should be no more than 100 mm (3.94 in) behind the rear axle.
• Clearance above the tire: The bottom of the seat should be at least 120 mm (4.72 in) above the tire, including 40 mm (1.57 in) of clearance above any rear rack accessories.
